Aged for a minimum of 18 years in a curated cask selection of bourbon, Oloroso sherry, cream sherry, and Ruby port casks, it is bottled at 46% ABV.

| Nose | Complex aromas of red berries, milk chocolate, honey, coffee, and breakfast cereal emerge immediately. A distinct rancio character, reminiscent of old books and antique furniture typical of well-aged whiskies, takes center stage. Full-bodied and aromatic. |

| Overall: | Upon its initial launch, Redbreast 18 faced criticism from many whisky writers—myself included—due to a premium price point compared to other 18-year-old expressions on the market. Despite these pricing debates, it proves to be an exceptionally complex and stunning Redbreast release. The nose, offering a new nuance with every pass, alongside a beautifully balanced palate, is remarkably well executed. Hopefully, we will see a cask strength version of this 18-year-old from the brand in the future. |
