Isle of Harris Whisky
Isle of Harris Distillery marks an important milestone with the launch of its new signature core expression, Isle of Harris Single Malt Whisky. Proudly crafted entirely on the island by the local team behind The Hearach, this permanent addition captures a lightly peated, fresh, and vibrant island style after a decade of distilling. Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, it delivers a smooth and complex profile with notes of butterscotch, floral sweetness, and gentle spice. The expression is non-chill filtered with no artificial colouring used.
Priced at £50 RRP, it offers a complex yet approachable dram, perfect for both quiet moments of appreciation or sharing with friends in a simple, refreshing serve.

| Nose | On the first whiff, it immediately delivers coastal elements with sea breeze, salted caramel, and elegant smoke, followed by rich vanilla, stewed fruits, almond, and cinnamon. As the glass opens up, floral notes and a deeper sweetness emerge. |

| Palate | On the palate, a sweet and creamy texture unfolds as caramel, cinnamon, ginger, almond, and citrus peel are followed by light smoke and oaky notes. |
| Finish | Short-medium finish with caramel, cinnamon and black pepper lingering. |
| Overall: | The Isle of Harris Single Malt is a wonderfully approachable expression. On both the nose and palate, the pastry-shop sweetness and buttery caramels blend beautifully with a gentle touch of island peat that adds depth without being overpowering. It is an exceptionally delicate and fresh pour that works great as a neat sipper, but its light profile also makes it an excellent candidate for a crisp highball or creative cocktails. It’s simply a well-crafted, versatile whisky made for pure enjoyment. |
